It rained quite a bit today, surprise surprse, and the boys were dying to go outside. So Vance took them while I finished up some painting I was working on. While they were playing outside the weather decided to cooperate and stop raining for a bit.
Here is how Vance empties the recycling bin with two kids. "All aboard!!!!"Vance told Ethan to make sure he holds on to Aidan so he doesn't fall. This explains the hug around the neck.
So I was inside working very hard on my project when I got a phone call from Vance outside. "Heather come see what your boys are doing" Naturally I snagged the camera and ran out ASAP. This is what I found!! My two boys loving the giant puddle of water from all the rain. I never mind when they get dirty or wet, but it drives Vance crazy. I tell him all the time, let them get dirty and have fun. So I guess he did was I asked him to do. :) They loved it so much. 
Aidan's hands were freezing and he wouldn't leave the water for anything.
I finally went back inside and not 10 minutes went by and I hear both boys crying at the top of their lungs. Neither of them wanted to come in and leave the water. Even though both of the mouths were chattering and their bodies were freezing. I knew a nice warm bath would get them to change their minds. Don't ya just love dirty boys!!

Dirty kids are the best!! It's much better in the summer when you can hose them off outside instead of cleaning them off in a clean house...but oh well, houses can be cleaned too.

How fun! I can't wait for my little Reese to get bigger so I can have an excuse to get all dirty again. Beng a kid is great!
