Procession of the Species

Saturday I took the day off to spend some time with the ole' familia. My little family and my parents went to the "Procession of the Species". So let's just say thanks for Weird and abnormal people who make our lives not so dull and more entertaining!!! Oh my goodness!!! People came up with some CrAzY Stuff. The costumes and props were awesome and Ethan never took his eyes off the parade. So being the organized people we are got there an hour early and found a spot. Well the closer it got to starting the more people came. HOLY COW it was crazy crammed with people waiting for the parade to start. Finally it started and the closer they got to us people decided they could just come and sit in front of everyone else. UHHH I don't think so, (I'm snapping my fingers as I write that). We told people to move because we got there in time and your not sitting right in front of us to block our views of this MaGnIficeNt Parade. Yea people didn't like us much. Oh well!!!

My parents enjoying some wonderful Teriyaki! YuM!

They gave out free chalk to encourage road Art!!

This dude showed us how to start fire with a match!?!?! OK.

Ethan was scared of the cat lady!!! hehe

Um YeAH Don't Ask! Ethan and Grandma

Crazy primantis and frog. Not sure what these are! Grandpa & Ethan.

The Lion chasing the mouse!!! Kind of a cool effect from my phone camera.

Do I really have to say anything?

It's official Aidan is our "Spit fire, Crazy and throw him in the garbage child"!!!! Man he sure knows how to give us a run for our money!! He doesn't want to be held and doesn't want to be put in a stroller. Now that he walks that's all he wants to do. Urrggg it drives me crazy. Than he thinks he is HeMan because he does whatever he wants no matter how tall, long or big it is he is going to climb, run or swim it!! This explains the 4 different bruises on his forehead and millions of bruises on his shins and knees. But when he is tired all he wants to do is snuggle. It's amazing how quick they switch from wanting to not.

Well we had a great time at the parade and it's fun to sit back and watch the many different people out there.

I really need to head down one year and check this out. It looks like something that only those "special people" from Olympia could put on!
