Continue Anniversary Weekend

ARGOSY Cruise
The Locks

The next morning we got up and headed towards to water which is called the "Puget Sound" We checked out of the hotel and grabbed the car from valet so we could find some other parking closer to the water. We a departure reservation at 10:00 a.m. Of course we didn't leave the hotel until 9:30, which meant no time for Mcie D's a.k.a McDonald's. Luckily I had some homemade banana bread and a propel water in the car that we ate while walking to the destination. Vance was ecstatic for the "filling" breakfast we had. :)

So we checked into the front desk for the ARGOSY Cruise-The Locks. I booked this online through Expedia and thought it looked pretty cool. They told us to go outside and hop on the bus, it will take us to the boat.

Here we are on the bus waiting for it to go.

Vance sitting in the very front of the boat waiting for it to launch.

There were only about 20 people on the boat. Which was pretty cool because it left plenty of room to move around.

Here is downtown Seattle's skyline from Lake Washington

It was pretty overcast and looks like it is about to rain, but it never did. It was nice and cool and got warmer as the cruise went on.

Here is a replica boat of The Nina, one of Christopher Columbus'.

What do you think? Does it look anything like the original? :)

These are actual "Floating Houses" They aren't mobile and they are connected to the cities plumbing system. They go for anything from $500.000 for a cheap "Shack" house to a new one of $5 mil. Can you believe that?

This is called "Gas Works" Parks. That's right it's an old industrial plant turned into a park. People can go and climb all over it. One of the biggest 4Th of July celebrations is held at this park. They said over 60,000 people will pack into this park. and on the hill next to it. Than 1000 of boats will flood the Lake. That must be a sight to see.

The actual Sleepless in Seattle house. This is the one Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan sat outside on. It was painted white for the movie. :)
This bridge has a 30 foot clearance. We made it by 4 inches. They guy had to go on the roof and put some antenna's down. He could touch the bridge with his hand. SCARY!!

Tractor!! This picture was taken Ethan he LOVES tractors and construction stuff.

Some really cool looking Tugboats

Deadliest Catch!!

I'm sure most of you have seen or heard of the show "Deadliest Catch" Anyway here are some of the Crabbing Boats that are on the show. This is there off season so we were able to see a few of then. Pretty Cool.
