Pikes Place

Daughter Like Mother!!!!

In Seattle they have this HUGE Market place and it's crazy with tons of people. My brother Nick and his fiance Meagan came to visit for a week. Meagan had not been to Seattle before so we headed up there last Saturday minus Vance and the kids. Vance had some serious studying to do and if you can't tell in the pictures Pikes Places is not a place you want to roll strollers through. It was fun to have a day to play with my brother and Meagan. So we got to Seattle, and parked near the Space Needle and the two love birds headed up. We grabbed a bite to eat and then rode the Tram across town. When we got to the Seattle Mall I walked passed a store and saw some delicious looking chocolate covered strawberries. I thought in my mind "I need some of those" and continued on our way. We walked to Pikes Place and walked all the way through it.

Tons of Salmon, Halibut and all kids of seafood for sale.

There is a fish stand there that when they sell a fish the guy in front of the fish yells and throws the fish to the guy up at the top.

Pretty cool to watch I even got it on video. People come miles just to watch that.

Half of the Market is outside and half in in a building. As you can tell not a lot of room.

Thank goodness we didn't have the double stroller.

I often wonder how many of these people are actaully going to buy something.

Just a cool shot of ALL the Fruit and vegetables.

These kids are either backing out of the way from the mass amounts of people or taking advantage of a little cuddle time. :)

Here is my mom at the END of the Market because she can't handle walking through the building part of the Market.
Doesn't she look so HaPpY. hehe

Everytime I've gone to Pikes Place my dad eyes these huge metal Salmon that are beautiful. They are hand made and very expensive. Well as you can see he broke down and got 3. We were making fun of him and his "Babies" on the Tram.

My brother Nick and his fiance Meagan riding the Tram.

So after Pikes Place we headed back to the mall to catch the Tram. Well I still had a craving for those delicious looking chocolate strawberries. So we stopped by the store and I asked how much they were...... wait for it....... $4 for one STRAWBERRY depending on the size.... Price went up for a bigger strawberry and it cost a whole hell of a lot more for more than 1. Well I certainly learned an important lesson; Godiva chocolate is ExPeNsIvE!!! I didn't even look at what the name of the store was and to tell you the truth I've never have Godiva chocolate. Anyway I went ahead and got a chocolate covered macaroon. A little cheaper and worth it price tag. I think I will stick with Ghiradelli milk chocolate. :)

Anyway we had a great time with my brother and his fiance. I'm so excited for them.

Godiva is over rated anyways :) That looks like fun with all the fresh stuff there! I love the picture of you and your mom. PS, my mom can't find your email-can you please give it to me so I can give it to her. :)
