Travelin' With Mators

This last weekend I got to make a quick trip to Utah with Aidan to see my brother Nick get married. We got there Friday morning and left Monday morning. It was a busy and fun weekend. The funnest part, not, was traveling with an 18 month old. He actually did really well, but man it would have been easier without him. :)
When I arrived to the airport I had a suitcase, car seat, stroller, diaper bag, laptop and a toy bag. Luckily when I arrived Aidan was asleep and I did not want to take him out of his car seat so I pulled out the stroller and placed the car seat in it. I strapped it around the back and came up with the below concoction. Yes I know very creative and it worked like a charm. I did have to wake him up and take him out of the car seat to go through security. Dang it!! I put him back this way and he loved it.
I met my parents at the Salt Lake airport because we flew on different airlines. Here is Aidan in his new ride.

Yes he fell asleep!!
I was able to stay with my sister for the few days. Aidan had a blast playing with his cousins. Here he is test driving his cousin, Brady's, four wheeler. He was a natural and stood as he drove it. My dare devil!!
Here is my nephew Brady and my sister Lara.
Yes my son and Brady are wearing the same outfit. Funny thing, we both pulled out the outfit not knowing either had it. :)

On Sunday we went to Salt Lake and had a BBQ with some of Lara and Rich's friends. It was good food and fun swimming. Aidan had a great time.

After the BBQ I had a grand idea that maybe my sister should just drop Aidan and I off at the airport to try and catch a flight a day early. I was flying standby, thanks to my wonderful mother-in-law hooking me up with buddy passes. Anyway we arrived at the airport and needless to say the first flight was overbooked by 7 people and the last flight of the day was delayed until 12:30 a.m. Dang!!! So I called my sister and she had already made it up to Roy and said she will be down as soon as she could. Luckily Aidan fell asleep and stayed asleep for most of the wait time. I hung around the airport for a total of about 2 hours. FUN STUFF. Also my luggage was already on it's way to Seattle. Yup so when my sister picked us up I had no luggage. Than I had to wake up at 6 and have my brother-in-law take us back to the airport to catch an early flight. We made it, but it was quite the ordeal. Thank goodness for family and thank goodness I was in no hurry to get anywhere. It was a great weekend and I had a blast seeing my family. Love you all. I wish I had more time to see my friends and my in-laws.
