Slumber Party.

Well the big storm warning came and church was canceled. What else to do, a slumber party!! The kids and I stayed at my parents while Vance had to go to work.  Thank goodness Vance bought chains a couple of years ago for the car. It makes a HUGE difference when you have them on.  

The kids LOVE to play in Grandpa's office and look at it all the Mickey Mouse stuff.  Especially around Christmas because of the Christmas Mickey Tree and decorations.

Finally in the morning we all went outside to see the foot of snow outside.   The top layer of snow was hard thick snow.

Can't even to a snow angel.  He is laughing not crying I promise.

All Ethan wants to do is throw snow at people.

"help me, help me, I stuck" This is what Aidan would say.

I made this small hill for Aidan to slide down.  The box lid was my dad's idea. 

He loved it.

What an incredible sight.  I love the snow on the trees.  

That is about as far as my mom got.

It's Sundays at 2:10 p.m. and it's still snowing HEAVY.  Amazing all this snow!! I pray for everyone and hope people are careful on the road.  Especially Vance who works from 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
