A Bittersweet Goodbye

Monday January 12, 2009 at 10:45 a.m. the Chard Family met at the Funeral home for a Family Prayer.  My Uncle Steve Chard gave the Prayer just after we all said our goodbyes to my grandmother.  It was quite the bittersweet moment for all of us.  Knowing where she is and that she is with my grandpa again, but also sad because she will be missed.  The Funeral service was very well done.  My cousin Jana Ficket Lewis gave a talk and did a fabulous job.  It was fun to remember the many wonderful moments we had with my grandma.
After the service we drove to Kaysville, Utah to the burial ground.  My dad dedicated the grave site for my grandma.

My Aunt Cindy is my dad's sister.  She is here with her husband Dale and my cousin Kolton.
