A little Update

HODO's Life Update

Boys playing Wii with Grandma Chard, THIS has NEVER happened in my house growing up.  It's amazing what grandparents do for their grandkids.

Big boy Ethan helping dad take down Christmas lights.

Crazy Aidan boy

Ethan and Aidan ALWAYS sleep with their arms up like this.

Both all puckered out.

Making some Mac N' Cheese

Aidan playing with the iPhone

Mr. Hodo man and his bed head.

My superhero.

This happens on most Sunday afternoons.

Just a few updates on the Hodo's and what we've been up to.  Well first thing is first, my Big Boy started Primary at the beginning of the year!! I can't even believe my baby is in Primary.
The first week or two we had a hard time getting him to go and stay in Primary, but after much talking and convincing he decided he was ok with going to Primary.  One Sunday I was talking to Ethan and warned him ahead of time that we will be going to Primary today.  Well proceeded to tell me that he didn't want to.  I said, "Ethan don't you want to go and sing songs, you love to sing songs"  He says "No I don't want to sing songs."  "Ok Ethan you do not have to sing, but just go in, sit and be reverent and I will come with you."
After that he's been fine going ever since. In fact the other day I went to pick him up from his class and I asked his teacher how Ethan was.  She told me how he was the only one to answer one of the questions which was, "Where did we live before we lived on Earth?" When I heard this it made me so proud.  I realized that kids actually do hear and remember things you teach them.  It was a very uplifting moment.

The boys here sucked into the tube.  Actually Vance had them sit like this because the moment you run to get the camera they stop doing the cute things you want to catch .

The boys found some fun accessories in Grandma Chard's stuff.

I just love this smile it totally adds to the costume

Aidan is a sucker for the car and ALWAYS falls asleep. I can't help but admit I don't that he falls asleep.

Every time we leave the Gym the boys run to the bike racks and have to walk through them.  Whatever floats their boat.

As far as my Aidan boy he is one CrAzY kid and if there were a LEGAL dog collar for a child I just might think about using it.  J/K  We LOVE Tator Bones so much and his energy just don't give him something breakable within arms reach.  He is growing so much and is talking a ton.  He loves to repeat everything you say.  When he is around Ethan we use the phrase "Monkey See Monkey Do" because he follows him and does everything Ethan does.
Lately we've been having to watch him like a hawk because he takes his diaper off and who knows where he has.... um... yeah...  gone pee pee. The good news is he has been going to the bathroom on the toilet on his own about 2 or 3 times a day.  I'm thinking the toilet training won't be much work...  Knock on wood.  :)

Vance is crazy also but crazy doing homework and working full-time.  Vance is such a wonderful husband and father.  He does so much for me and the kids.  Ethan and Aidan light up EVERY TIME he comes home.  They love their daddy so much and as I do.  I'm so proud how dedicated he is to graduating, he deserves so much.

Nothing too exciting about me just working at Outback and being a mommy.

I love, love, love reading your posts! They make me smile everytime! Your boys are crack ups! Hey, it's hard work with a hubby going to school full time, working full time, and working yourself - besides being a mommy! I think you are doing GREAT! Don't short sell yourself! We've got to have a big party for Vance (and you!) when he does graduate!
