Gardening 101

For Relief Society we are doing a Gardening Enrichment Group.  I'm really excited for this because I've NEVER been into gardening and really didn't have any desire to garden.  Well the place we are living now gives us a lot of freedom.  My landlord is wonderful and lets us do a lot the place.  Well in our backyard we have a spot that is pretty decent size, but it was LOADED with leaves.  

So Vance and I jumped right into getting it cleared out and ready for some more preparation.

Here is the plot weeded and ready to be tilled.

With a lot of help we were able to till it really quick.  Yes these pictures are the result of a broken camera.  :(  So I tried to make them as fun as possible.  They kind of look old school.

Ethan was giving us instructions on how to rake the dirt.

Here is the dirt tilled and ready to plant Vegetables.  

Now the problem is "Actually" planting something.  I just liked playing in the dirt.  We'll see what happens.
