Most people start their blog about heat like this.... "I'm not going to complain, but man it's hot." Well I'm going to complain because DAMN it's HOT and I did not move to Arizona, California, or Nevada. I moved out of Utah to somewhere it doesn't get so hot!!! Ok I'm done, by the way when it's down pouring in Washington all the time I don't complain! :) We've had to find some ways to beat this insane 104 degree weather last week. Here are many of them.

We drove up to the Cheesecake Factory and had lunch.

The main reason we came is the indulge ourselves with some Dulce De Leche Cheesecake
Kids half naked because it's TOO hot to be fully dressed. They didn't even ask to go outside because it was insanely Hot.

They've been really good at playing nice together a lot lately.
That's right we filled the pool up and all of us enjoyed in the fun.
We all even took turns down the slip and slide

We rounded up some Tubes and headed to the Dechutes River at Pioneer Park. My dad came with us to float down the river.

Of course I didn't even attempt to take my camera on the river, but I wish I had bought a disposable camera because there would have been some great shots. Especially when Aidan fell asleep on my lap for an hour of the ride. So my dad asked Vance how long it takes, he told him about an hour. Well 3 hours later we arrived to Tumwater Falls. haha
It was a lot of fun though. Nice and relaxing just floating down the river. Ethan loved getting off the tube and swimming around.

Aidan is completely happy.
It was so hot we decided to bring all the mattresses out so everyone could enjoy the fan. The boys loved our "Slumber Party". In fact I got a little chilly with the fan right on us.

The Heat wave has passed and it's not nearly as hot. I hope we don't have to go through that again because I hate it soooo hot!!

You've got great pics! I remember doing the same thing tubing down the river, being told it'd be and hour and then 4 hours later we finally arrive! Sheesh!
