Fish, Friends and Familly

This time of year we get to see the Salmon run and come through the sound. So we took the kids downtown to check them out. There were about 50 or so salmon in the water.

Eventually they make their way back of the Dechutes river into a holding tank.

These are some big fish

Even Waspy checking out the fish.

After the fish we walked around Capitol Lake. Here is a Blue haring hanging out on a rock.
Pretty cool looking

So my friend Sarah Arnold gave me a TON of clothes for Ethan from her son. Well my boys rated it and snagged some super hero pj's and yes they are now wearing pj's outside. Total white trash, but whatever right?

David and Family came up to visit for a few days.

We met them downtown and the boys loved Waspy. Here are the twins being so nice and gentle with her. We stopped by the bridge to see if the Salmon were still there, but no go they had already gone up the river.

So we met my dad at Farmers Market for some lunch and decided to head to Tumwater Falls.
Here the Salmon make their way up the river and are put in a holding tank until ready to be released to lay eggs.

It was fun to watch them jump around.

After checking out the Salmon we made our way down. David and his family have never been to Tumwater Falls.

Timothy and Daniel, Davids oldest two.

Vance naturally found a snake and caught it for Ethan.

We spent most our time by the river and this waterfall. The boys all got soaked and had a blast. Thank goodness for dry clothes.

On Sunday we went to Point Priest Park for some outside time. The boys all played while we adults attempted some card playing.

Waspy hanging out sleeping. It cracks me up how she gets all puffy when she sleeps.

Hehe I think it's cute.

David and Deborah headed out Monday morning. It was a lot of fun to have them hear. Ethan and Aidan say "We love cousins" They really enjoyed hanging out with the boys. Thanks for coming you guys.
