Long Lake

We were going to head to the beach, but decided to stick around Olympia.  I had heard about Long Lake and decided to check it out.  I compare this to swimming at Surf N' Swim in Utah because it's just as packed.

Here's a little idea of how packed it was.  It was still a lot of fun.

Apparently no bbq's are allowed so we went and did a tailgate one by the car.  We kind of hid in front of it just in case.

So we packed up and headed out.  By this time most people were gone and it was incredible the amount of garbage people left behind.  I swear I just want to kick someone.  Here we have this beautiful lake where lifeguards are provided and bathrooms and people have the audacity to just leave their trash.  Argh I hate people like that.  Gee I wonder why we get charged for everything all the time.  Ok I'm done!!  

We had a great time at Long Lake and we'll be heading there again sometime.  It was nice not to have to drive so long.
