Just to let everyone know that it's officially fall and soon to be Winter!! Here in Olympia the rainy season has begun and I have to admit I'm not ready for it. The clouds are a bit downing (is that a word) well that's what it feels like. What I wouldn't give to be back at Disneyland right now or on a tropical beach somewhere sipping lemonade reading a good book. A slight breeze blowing by me while I lay in the sun with nothing to worry about. To not have to make a single decision or worry about anyone. YEAH RIGHT!!! Wake up Heather!! Sorry I had a moment and was dreaming of a far off land. I'm awake now back to reality. Back to thinking and making life altering decisions. :) Life is great isn't it.
I was watching Conference this Sunday and really enjoyed the talks given by all the Apostles and the Prophet. One in particular made me think a bit. I can't remember exactly who spoke but one quote he said was an old saying our parents used to say "If you can't say anything nice than don't say anything at all." Man isn't that the truth!! Of course we can all think of ways someone has said something not so nice to us, but it's thinking of things we've said to others. The speaker also focused on judging others. I just have to say how thankful I am I DON'T have to be a judge for others because in all reality who wants that job?? Not me!! We all seam to think our own views and opinions are the only way to go, but in reality they are just OPINIONS right?? So just because it's my opinion doesn't mean it's right. Plus we may think we know the correct way to judge someone but come to find out when we don't know the ENTIRE situation or story than there are always holes and missing information leaving us to judge incorrectly. Therefore I've learned We NEVER know what is going on in people's lives and we may NEVER know. So we have no place to judge. When I've been judged I think of the person judging me and I say to myself "Wow that's too bad because that person was ALMOST perfect, up until the point she started judging me"
TO THE POINT!!!! I've learned in the past few months between talks from the prophets and certain conversations that "If I have nothing NICE to say than DON'T say it at all" and basically it's not my job or place to judge ANYONE regardless of how convinced I think I know a situation!!!

Oh, and I hate the rain in WA!
Well said. I loved conference!
Yes I did see the talk given on Eternal Marriage. Thank you!!!
I totally agree. I am so glad that I am not responsible for judging people, although I know that I sometimes am too quick to judge people in certain situations. I am trying to make sure that I think before I speak just to make sure I am not going to say something I regret.
Disneyland is amazing! Good thoughts from conference chicka!
Conference was amazing! How have you been?
