Memorial Weekend!

Nothing exciting was planned for our Memorial Weekend, but we did have a nice relaxing one.

I know these pictures aren't very appealing, but this is what Aidan does to himself on a daily basis.  He is constantly doing things that get him hurt and it doesn't even phase him.  He will whine for a moment and go about his merry way.

These did happen on two different occasions on the same day.  Poor little dude.

We were dropping off Vance at work after lunch and this three wheeler looking thing was in the parking lot.  Ethan thought it was cool.

I ended up getting off work early on Friday night and we decided to put the tent up and camp out.  Luckily Aidan had already fallen asleep and we were able to put it up with no distractions.  Plus it was really fun to have a little time with just Ethan. 

He did a great job helping us.

It's fun to have trees in the backyard it kind of felt like we were really camping.

We just let Ethan run around and play in the tent for a while.

Ethan feel asleep great and we moved him to his own spot in the tent.  Once he was asleep Vance and I were able to go back to the house and hang out before our bedtime.  We eventually moved Aidan because we didn't want to leave him in the house while we were all outside.  

Needless it was a little chilly, but a fun little camp out. 

The next morning was Saturday and I usually go to my parents and mow the lawn.  We decided we needed a super yummy breakfast before we went.  I called my dad and had him meet us at the Farmers Market.  There was no hesitation on his part.

Now this is by far the BEST breakfast I've ever had.  They are called Crab Cake Eggs Benedict.  It's a wheat English muffin on the bottom with a Crab Cake than a poached egg topped with hollandaise sauce and served with a side of potato's and tomatoes.  Oh my Goodness I want one right now!! 

By the Way Ethan loves to steal my poached egg.

This bird was on top of my parents house making quite the ruckus.  It almost looks like a little penguin. 

My parents surprised Ethan and Aidan with a new pool for the grand kids to play in while at their house.  I think they like it.  

You really have to keep your eye on them because they are crazy and Aidan just dumps his head in with no hesitation.  Crazy boy.

My dad was trying to burn some old leaves but all that was coming out was smoke.  It was pretty cool when it would come through the trees.
