Day at Lost Lake

The Annual Elders Quorum "Day at the Lake" was last Saturday. I got the day off so Vance and I could take the boys and spend ALL day at the lake. It was a bit chilly, but the boys had a BLAST. They could swim all the time in rain or shine. There were a few boats and a wave runner so a lot of people got to go out on the water.

Ethan is geared up and ready to go.

Vance taking the first plunge into the chilly water.

Go daddy!!

There goes Ethan.

Vance taking Ethan and Hank out on the Kayak.

Aidans turn for a ride.

Hank Handy on the left and our Home Teacher Brady Neeley in the middle. Not sure who's on the far right.

Ethan wanted a turn and was excited to go with Brady. Berrett Burbidge was the driver and he explained the hand gestures on how to go slow, fast or stop. As soon as they started moving Ethan is putting his thumb down to go slow. It was pretty funny. Loves water, but does not like to go fast.

So Brady decided to go on a ride with boys that wanted to go fast.

Oh yea baby that is a HOT DOG!!!

Alicia Neeley and Sister Schneider for some reason wanted me to go on a ride with them. Well they had NO idea what they were getting themselves into.

Starting out slow and easy.

I stood up and the ladies were very nervous about this.

Me trying to keep them from going over the wake.

Alicia holding on for dear life. Don't worry no one fell off the tube and I would NEVER do anything to these ladies, I'm scared of them.

A little family ride out on the Kayak

Colby Neeley and Zach Thompson playing around

Back we come.

Boys got some cake to enjoy. Ethan dropped his on the ground.

Lovely.

Aidan thinking about going down the slide

He did it!!

This time he wouldn't go so Ethan pushed him down.

We had a lot of fun at the lake. My last ride on the tube was with Dennese and Jaimee Mahoney. Berrett tried very hard to throw us off the tube, but no go. As we were heading back in we all decided to stand on the tube and just than Berrett gave it a little kick and we went flying off. I landed face first and had sinus issues for days. It was fun though and I can't believe Dennese stayed on Arrgg.

On the way home we stopped for ice cream, but apparently Aidan couldn't handle staying awake to eat it all.
