Friday morning after Crab Cake Eggs Benedict's we left for Coeur D' Alene, ID to meet my sister-in-law Teri and her family for some Silverwood action!!
We traveled East through Auburn and crossed Snoqamie Pass. It was a beautiful drive through the Pass.
When we left it was overcast and raining. The mountains were covered in clouds and looked pretty sweet. Sorry for the bad pictures I was driving and it's hard to get decent pictures.
Than out of the mountains it becomes desert and sunshine.
We pass through Moses Lake, WA. This is a tribute to my mother because she was born there.
It started raining again and we saw a beautiful rainbow.
As we were driving we received a call from Teri saying it was pouring down rain and the campground has mud puddles all over. Needless to say we decided to check into a hotel rather than fight with mud and rain.
Yeah we made it to Coeur D' Alene 6 hours later safe and sound.
When we got there we went to Denny's for dinner. My niece Emily picked it because it was her birthday. Than we wanted to get enough sleep for the big day.
Silverwood Theme Park we are!!!
Heading through the underground tunnel
A rest stop before we hit the rides
Ethan and his I'm not sure I want to do this look!! Daniel, my brother-in-law, talked Ethan into going on the Tilt-A-Whirl. So Ethan agreed as long as he went with Daniel.
So I got to ride with Jaromy and Emily. We made it go FAST!!!!
My nephew Jaromy ready for some Ferris Wheel action
Emily and Gracie in line.
They don't look like sisters at all. :)
Ethan and Jaromy on the Ferris Wheel
Aidan was not liking this ride at all. They stopped the ride because he was crying.
Aidan and his I'm scared face
Ethan and Jaromy on the plane
The cowboy fell off his horse! Yes I know he's dirty.
Ethan playing the same game, not sure where they picked this up.
Emily and Katie on the horse.
Ethan went on the Roller Coaster, the kid one!! Aidan was screaming before we even sat down. So Vance and Aidan sat out on this ride.
Us and Garfield! "Mom who's Garfield?" All the kids asked! :)
Ethan giving Garfield a hug.
Vance, Jaromy, Ethan and Aidan waited for over 45 min to ride the bumper boats to get soaked!! For once Ethan doesn't look happy to be wet.
These guys are all waiting for Teri and I to ride the Panic Plunge.
Ethan and his blue tongue from cotton candy
And there's Aidan's
Oh yea that's me and Teri heading up the Panic Plunge!!!
PANIC PLUNGE:
A slow rise to 140 feet in the air to suddenly drop with no warning at 47 mph to 120 feet down!!!
Yes I was FREAKING out and almost pee'd my pants. Can you believe I rode this thing twice!!!
Ethan taking a shot to win a snake!!
Aidan's turn
They both won a snake. Yes Ethan picked a PINK snake! Whatever!
Yea we like when they fall asleep
Everyone at the Magic Show. By the way I had the WORST seat in the house. Apparently they don't mind if the whole park packs themselves in this room and can stand in front of anyone. I scooted about 10 people out of my face. Stinkin people!!
Family photo on the Train ride!
The trained was robbed while we were riding it. ;)
Katie putting her hands up.
Teri and I had the perfect spots on the train to be soaked from an explosion!
Aidan got wet also.
Here is the ride the Aftershock!!! Talk about intense!!
Once you board, the cars will slowly move backwards up the starting tower until you’re staring straight at the ground at nearly 190 feet in the air. Then gravity will take over and pull you 177 feet straight down as you reach speeds of 65 miles per hour! You’ll twist and turn though mind-blowing loops and rolls until you reach the second tower. This time, you’ll be looking at the sky as the coaster pulls you upward at a 90 degree angle, only to release and send you barreling through the whole thing backwards!
Love this Ride!!
Aidan's favorite ride, the Merry-go-round!
My boys.
Aidan and Daddy
Got a decent picture of Vance and Jaromy in the front of the Corkscrew!!
Daniel and Emily and two seats back.
Ethan came on the Scrambler with me and he liked it!
A forever WAIT to ride old cars.
We saw a ice skate show and the kids loved it.
By closing the kids were halfway asleep and begging to go. So we just dumped them on the beds and they slept all night!!!
Silverwood has a water park, but since it was raining we opted out. Unfortunately we learned too late in the day the water is heated!! We totally would have gone! Oh well we had a lot of fun anyway.
The next day we packed our things and checked out of the hotel. Then went down to the lake in Coeur D' Alene. We parked the car and I went to pay the parking meter. By the time I got back my kids were already in the lake!!
Yes that's Ethan in the water.
Of course it was beautiful that day. Ethan said he wanted to stay all day long.
I think he is having fun. I figured they got jipped from not going swimming at the water park.
Everyone else watching from a distance. They all decided to go walk the Boardwalk, which is the longest floating bridge.
Aidan having a great time as well.
Very pretty
Ethan sinking in the sand.
The kids saying their good byes
Vance and his sister Teri.
Stephanie giving Vance loves.
Man it sucked saying good bye. It was such a short trip and we would have loved to stay longer. This is something we will definitely do again.
So we headed back on the road home.
We stopped at a rest stop and let the kids run around. We figured we weren't in any hurry to get home.
Ethan said he doesn't like to smile.
He found it in himself to smile for me.
Than he was done. :)
Dog pile on mom!!
Dad's turn.
On the way to Coeur D' Alene we drove by a scenic view and I really wanted to stop, but it was raining. So on the way home it was beautiful so we stopped and took about an hour to lizard hunt and play.
Ethan looking for lizards. These things were small and extremely fast.
This is the Columbia River.
Amazing. I was freaking out at the kids getting too close and my stomach was a wreck. I just new we were all going to fall.
My boys are so cute.
Family Photo.
Boys being adventurous.
Aidan didn't want his picture with Ethan so Ethan is holding up a one because he is the only one.
Vance living his childhood again. Lizard hunting!!
A lizard!!
Looking under rocks for those little guys.
Aidan having fun throwing rocks.
We had a lot of fun looking for lizards. Vance caught one but accidentally killed it.
Now back on the road.
The bridge we cross over the Columbia River.
That is a Huge river!
We got home safe and sound Sunday night. We all had a lot of fun!! Wish we could do more with our families more often.

I love your face on the panic plunge!
I am such a kid, I love theme parks and my husband hates them. Sad.
Looks like tons of fun!
