So I no longer work at the Outback and now have the best job ever!!! I'm working for a couple I know doing yard work. I get to mow the lawn on a riding lawn mower, beautify the yard all by myself and enjoy nature at it's best. Since I've been there I've seen a bat, a mole, snake, frogs, duck with her babies, and a bunny. It's been fun so far and I'm excited to continue as long as there is work for me to do.
A poor bat that didn't make it. Apparently this is a frequent occurrence at their home. Many flying animals fly into the glass door thinking they are going further than they do.
I was cleaning out dead leaves and came across this birds nest in the bush. The mom was giving me quite the mouthful. She kept squawking at me to get away from her babies.
I'm grateful to know such wonderful people to offer me this opportunity. Thank you.
